Having grown up around restaurants, Kevin developed a passion for the hospitality industry at a young age. While mostly raised in Virginia, it was the Culinary Institute of America where he was introduced to wine for the first time, and Chicago where he really cut his teeth in the fine dining and world class hospitality realm. Leaping at an opportunity to join the Alinea 2.0 team as a food runner at the ripe age of 21 was a fast exposure to the world of fine wine. Kevin earned the title of sommelier after the first year - and ultimately became the Head Sommelier and wine buyer. Meanwhile, he became an Advanced Sommelier.

Kevin rounded out his Chicago tenure as the Wine Director for two of Charlie Trotter’s alumni, Chef John and Karen Shields. While rebuilding the entire wine program was difficult, it was with Kevin's guidance that the restaurant finally earned its third Michelin star.

Today, the Willamette Valley is home to Kevin, as he endeavors to bring a world class hospitality program to life at Seven Springs Vineyard.
